How does ordering work?
We bake once a week. The menu goes live on our Hotplate order page (opens our Hotplate order page), you pick your goodies and a pickup time, and pay online. Then you grab it from our porch on bake day.
When do orders close?
Orders close Wednesday at 8 PM before each bake day, or when a batch sells out. Popular loaves often sell out early.
How do I find out when the menu drops?
Sign up for text alerts on our Hotplate page (opens our Hotplate order page). You'll get a text when the new menu goes live.
Can I pay at pickup?
All orders are paid online when you order. That's how we know exactly how much to bake, so nothing goes to waste.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Message us before the order cutoff and we'll do our best to change or cancel it. After cutoff your bread is already on the schedule, so we can't offer refunds.
Pickup
Where and when is pickup?
Porch pickup in Pompano Beach on Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM. The exact address comes with your confirmation.
What if I can't make my pickup time?
Reply to your order confirmation as soon as you can and we'll try to work something out. Fresh bread is best the day it's baked, so please come during your window when possible.
Do you deliver?
Right now all orders are porch pickup. Want to see delivery? Tell us on Instagram.
Our bread
What's in your sourdough?
Our Classic Country loaf is flour, water, salt and our starter, Rosie. No commercial yeast. Each loaf gets a 48-hour cold ferment for flavor.
Do you have allergen-free options?
Several loaves are vegan (look for the tag on the menu). Everything is made in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts and sesame, so we can't guarantee anything is allergen-free.
How should I store my bread?
Keep loaves on the counter, cut side down, for up to 3 days. For longer, slice it and freeze it in a zip bag, then toast slices straight from the freezer.
Are you a licensed bakery?
We're a Florida cottage food operation, which means we bake in our home kitchen. Our food is made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations.
Custom orders
Do you take custom or large orders?
Yes! Parties, showers, holiday and client gifts. Request a quote at least 14 days ahead.
How do deposits work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit books your date, and the balance is due 3 days before pickup. See the full policy.
